Mr. Sawyer joined Peritus in 2014 as the Vice President, Regional Sales, covering the Eastern region.  Mr. Sawyer works with advisors, broker dealers, financial managers, and other industry players to educate them about Peritus’ product offerings.

Mr. Sawyer has over a decade of experience in the financial industry, with that majority of that time in sales.  He began his career as a fixed income assistant trader for Moors & Cabot, Inc., a financial consultant for A.G. Edwards, and a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch.  More recently, Mr. Sawyer worked as a wholesaler for John Hancock Funds and DIREXION Funds, working with investment professionals to help their clients achieve their investment objectives.  Mr. Sawyer has also worked at AdvisorShares, working to educate advisors and clients on the benefits of actively managed ETFs.

Mr. Sawyer graduated from Southern Connecticut University with a degree in Sociology and Business and holds his Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses.
