Mr. Pratt's responsibilities include structured portfolio management and structured product development at Peritus. Mr. Pratt also oversees credit derivative and structured credit investments and other special situations.
Prior to joining Peritus, he was involved with all aspects of structured credit issuance and management at Atlantic Asset Management beginning in 1999. While at Atlantic, Mr. Pratt was involved with closing three investment grade transactions and two high yield transactions and subsequent management including trading, credit analysis and portfolio management. Prior to joining Atlantic, Mr. Pratt worked at ARM Financial Group, an insurance holding company from 1993-1999 where he was a Director in the Institutional Business Group and Investment Department. Mr. Pratt's duties were focused on structuring transactions and portfolio analysis and management including managing a portfolio of structured credit equity and debt investments. Mr. Pratt's career at ARM also included: Financial Analyst in the Investment Assurance/Mergers & Acquisitions Group, a Financial Assistant in the Asset/Liability Management Group and a Trading Assistant in the Asset/Liability Management Group beginning in 1993. Mr. Pratt earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Louisville. Mr. Pratt has been previously NASD licensed.
